Print making is a fun and creative activity. Once the stamps are made they can be used to print onto paper, card and fabric.

The theme for this workshop was left free to encourage the attendees to use their own ideas when designing and making their stamps.

The starting point was to design ideas for the stamps as stand alone or a collection of stamps which could be used to create stories.

Recycled card was used for the base and handle and then foam was cut out to create our stamp shape. Indentations were made into the foam using a pen creating a more detailed stamp. Once the ink is applied these indentations would be left free of ink.

We used glue and tape to secure our stamps and left them to dry for the following week when we would then use the stamps to create our art.
